John 14:1 “Don’t be troubled. You trust God, now trust in me. v:2 There are many rooms in my Father’s home, and I am going to prepare a place for you. If this were not so, I would tell you plainly. v:3 When everything is ready, I will come and get you, so that you will always be with me where I am”. I think Jesus is already marshalling the Angels, giving final instructions and just waiting for the Father to say, “Everything is ready, today is the day, go and bring your Bride home.”
I get really excited about the signs of the times that are all around us. 1 Th 5:4 “But you, brothers, are not in darkness so that this day should surprise you like a thief”. As “children of the day” we should know these signs when we see them, and rejoice in them, for they are a signal to God’s children that the Rapture is close, even at the door right now. ( See Category “End Time Prophecies.”)
I long for the day when there shall be no more suffering, sorrow and death, and we shall no longer be subject to the temptations and lusts of the flesh, nor desire the things of this world. I long for the day when I shall be like Jesus, a partaker of the divine nature, and a partaker of his holiness. As we are told in Hebrews 12:10 and 2 Pet 1:4. I can feel in my spirit that it is very close now.
Rom 8:16 Tells us that The Holy Spirit testifies with our spirit that we are God’s children. If we are God’s children, then we are heirs of God and co-heirs with Jesus Christ. As Jesus’ bride, we will share in everything that is His. This is too amazing for us to comprehend. Any sufferings we may go through are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us.
We do not know what it is to suffer and be martyred for Christ like the Christians in some countries do, but I hope and pray if we ever did have to suffer for Christ, we would count it an honour, because “We know that in ALL things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.” Rom 8:28 So, look up Christians and rejoice, I believe our redemption is very close.
